profilephoto1Hailing from the Lone Star State, Caleb Simpson is “The Organic Climber”. Caleb is a full time Marketing professional with a background in graphic and web design. He is also an accomplished freelancer photographer. Although lately he has been putting the camera down more and hitting the rocks.

An avid fan of trad climbing, Caleb enjoys being on the rock as much as possible. He prefers long easy multi pitch routes over hard sport routes and bouldering (a.k.a. Pebble Pinching).

Caleb is also a recent convert to vegetarianism (as of August, 2008) with a high RAW food intake. Though not driven by ethical reasons, recent discoveries have at least opened his eyes a bit more to ethical issues in the food industry. The vegetarian lifestyle may not be a mainstay in his life, but as for now it is playing an important part in his overall health and well-being.

As far as the RAW food lifestyle goes, Caleb began eating a high RAW food diet after some friends from Austin, TX introduced him to a weekend of eating delicious RAW salads and smoothies and lots of talk about the benefits of RAW foods. Since then he has included lots of RAW foods into his diet.

Aside from climbing, photography, cycling, running, and being a food nut, Caleb is a devoted follower of Christ. His love for God and others motivates his life’s decisions above all things. Although like most human beings he can be quite selfish at times and be highly motivated by selfish decisions.

WOW, I can’t believe I just wrote my bio in third person. Pretty lame eh? Once I got started I couldn’t stop.

Not a climber? I hope to have a glossary of terms up soon to help you better understand my climbing jargon.

Not a foodie? I also hope to get a page up talking more about what this RAW food thing is.

Not a Texan? What a shame! Just kidding, I’m not that arrogant.
